Think Like A Coach Programme

You have new managers who are great at the technical side of their jobs but they are:

  • Finding it hard to balance a hectic schedule with empowering their teams.
  • Struggling to delegate and heading for burn out.
  • Getting low engagement scores and their turnover is high.

The answer is to Think Like a Coach.

Think Like a Coach Virtual Taster Workshop

If your managers aren’t delegating and are squeamish about difficult conversations, I have a programme that will help them boost their team’s motivation and drive exceptional performance through being coach-like in their everyday conversations.

Join me for a virtual taster workshop on Zoom on Wednesday 9 October from 12-1pm.

You’ll leave with:

  • The Coaching Two-Step, a model designed specifically for new managers.
  • Practical tips of how you can bring coaching into your everyday conversations.
  • A way to help your managers boost motivation and drive exceptional performance in their teams.

And you’ll go into a draw to win a signed copy of the book.

Register now and I’ll see you there!

Can’t make it? Subscribe to be notified of future dates and as a bonus you’ll also get the first chapter of Think Like a Coach for free.

Introducing the Coaching Two-Step framework

This is a simple yet transformative approach to managing a team that focuses on three fundamental coaching skills that your managers use daily: listening, asking questions and summarising.

Managers will learn how to use these skills to:

  • Boost performance and productivity.
  • Promote commitment, personal responsibility and self-sufficiency.
  • Free up precious time to focus on important tasks.
  • Make recruitment and retention easier and smoother.
  • Drive and deliver excellence in a team that’s motivated and empowered.

Your managers probably think coaching takes too much time. It doesn’t have to. I’ll show them it’s not an add on or an extra, it can be seamlessly integrated into their management style with every day conversations.

How does it work?

Step 1: Get in touch to set up a free 30-minute call with Jude to talk about the challenges the managers in your organisation are facing. You’ll leave with a clear idea of what your new managers need and Jude will share her insights from her 15+ years working in Deloitte L&D and beyond.

Step 2: If the Think Like A Coach progrmmae is the right approach, we’ll agree the format and scope. They can be held in person or virtually, great for your geographically distributed teams.

Step 3: We’ll send you an agreement to sign and your first invoice. At the same time we’ll schedule the programme and decide how to measure their impact.

Step 4: Jude delivers the programme and together we measure the impact.

Step 5: Confident managers, empowered teams.

What my clients say about me

What post programme support is available?

A handout is given to all participants as an easy reference guide for each workshop. As an added bonus you might consider buying each participant a copy of Think Like A Coach which goes into more detail and has suggested experiments to help develop their coaching skills further.

We could also set up action learning groups for 4-5 managers so they can work on real life team challenges or practice coaching and get feedback to help them get even better and grow their confidence.

Think Like a Coach

As a takeaway, you could gift your managers a copy of Think Like a Coach to act as their trusty go-to guide after the workshop. Alternatively we can email them all an A4 pdf with the main points to refer back to.
